This must be noted that this college is one of the oldest college in Kerala.
It has NAAC A+grade. One of the oldest department in the college is maths then history and then hindi.

This college is in the center of Alappuzha so it greatly attracts students. Not only in the college but also outside the college all facilities are available which makes students convenient to study here in all respects.
